2026 JOIN OUR COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS OFRENDA CONTEST

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE COMPLETING THE APPLICATION.

Celebrate the rich tradition of Día de los Muertos, and honor loved ones by participating in our 3rd Annual Community Organizations Ofrenda Contest. Showcase your creativity and cultural expressions in this meaningful community event! The winning organization will receive a cash donation towards their group/organization.

This is just our way to thank you for the work you do in our community and for taking the time to honor past loved ones with us.

There is no fee to enter.

This is a community voting contest.  Voting will open on-site during the event and will remain open online until Friday, November 6th, 2026. All Ofrenda photos will be uploaded onto our event site for voting opportunities from the public.  Voters can vote 1 time each day until the duration of the contest.

After reviewing the guidelines below, if you decide to move forward with entering our Ofrenda Contest, you’ll be guided to our submissions at the bottom of this page.

Due to capacity, we will have to limit the number of participating organizations, so hurry and be one of the first to join!

NOTE: Please note that this is meant to be a group effort and all members of your group who worked on the Ofrenda should attend to talk about your Ofrenda should attendees have any questions. They love to hear from you! Please do not send only 1 representative as again, this is a group effort.

Participating groups are highly encouraged to invite their friends and family for on-site voting! They do have to still register to the event, so please refer to our registration page.

 Important Dates:

  • Submission Deadline: Submission Deadline: by October 5th, 2026, by 6 pm (MST) 
  • Notification of Acceptance: by October 10th, 2026
  • Ofrenda Building Timeframe: Sunday, November 1st, 2026, Time TBD, but approximately 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
  • Event Date and Hours: Sunday, November 1st, 2026,
    • 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Early Bird VIP Private Shopping 
    • 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm: General Event for all
  • Ofrenda Breakdown: November 1st, 2026, 9:00 pm
  • Community Ofrenda Online Voting Concludes: November 6th, 2026 at 6:00 pm (MT)

ABOUT YOUR ALTAR

Please provide a brief description of your altar's theme and the story or memories it represents.
Please estimate the number of people from your organization who will participate.

MATERIALS

Each person/group is responsible for the construction & cost of their own Altar. Materials and Items to be used (You will be provided with a 6’ x 4’ indoor space. Tarps, tents, or canopies are not allowed).
Please provide a list of the main materials and items you plan to use for your altar.

AGREEMENTS

By submitting the form, you hereby confirm that all information provided is accurate and that your organization agrees to comply with all event guidelines and regulations, including the prohibition of open flames. You understand that failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in disqualification from the contest.
