Celebrate the rich tradition of Día de los Muertos, and honor loved ones by participating in our 2nd Annual Community Organization Altar Contest. Showcase your creativity and cultural expressions in this meaningful community event! The winning organization will receive a donation towards their group/organization. There is no fee to enter.
This is a community voting contest. Voting will open on-site during the event and will remain open online until Friday, November 7, 2025. All altar photos will be uploaded onto our event site for voting opportunities from the public. Voters can vote 1 time each day until the duration of the contest.
After reviewing the guidelines below, if you decide to move forward with entering our Altar Contest, you’ll be guided to our submissions at the bottom of this page.
Due to capacity, we will have to limit the number of participating organizations, so hurry and be one of the first to join!
Important Dates:
- Submission Deadline: Submission Deadline: by October 10, 2025, by 6 pm (MST)
- Notification of Acceptance: by October 17, 2025
- Altar Building Timeframe: November 1st, 2025, Time TBD, but we’re looking between 10 am and 5 pm
- Event Date and Hours: November 1, 2025, 7 pm – 11 pm
- Altar Breakdown: November 1, 2025, 11:30 pm
- Community Altar Online Voting Concludes: November 7, 2025
